Life and death

Medium: Acrylic on canvas – Black float frame. I painted this picture after I had Ayahuasca for the first time. Normally when I paint, I start somewhere and I finish somewhere but for this piece I had a plan and a story. On the bottom left the sun sets over the Gold Coast making the buildings orange and red. Bottom right is the cog of work life. Middle left is a womb with an unborn baby inside surrounded by family and friends. Top right is our ancestors, grandparents and those that have come and gone before us. The colours around him are his life and a newborn baby starts the circle of life again. Beautiful colourful awesomeness. (Frame note: black grain float frame)
